Working Principle, Characteristics and Application of Rotary Damper

damper is a device that provides motion resistance and reduces motion energy. The "special" component placed on the structural system can provide motion resistance and reduce motion energy. It is called a damper. From the beginning of the last century, people began to gradually apply these skills to construction, bridges, railways and other structural engineering, and the development is very rapid. As a damper with a history of more than 50 years, the rotary damper has been accepted by the American structural engineering community. It has undergone many rigorous tests and repeated arguments. The rotary damper enables the goods to achieve steep mechanical movement, which improves the quality and service life of the goods.

Nowadays, rotary dampers are very common in our life and work. They are suitable for various mechanical movements that need to be buffered, reduce the friction between equipment, and extend the service life of products. The rotary damper enables the product to obtain smooth mechanical movement, improves the quality and life of the product, has one-way buffer and two-way buffer, and is applied to computer optical drive, CD player in and out of the warehouse, notebook computer opening and closing, seat adjustment, mobile phone Flip cover, cassette cassette, etc.

The working principle of the rotary damper: One of the advantages of the disc brake is that the powder produced by the friction between the friction plate and the brake disc will be thrown out quickly, and the brake disc will dissipate heat faster, so as to obtain better braking performance. Due to the fast response and high-frequency braking capabilities of disc brakes, many cars use disc brakes to match the ABS system, VSC, TCS and other systems to meet the needs of such systems for rapid operation. For these reasons, and in order to obtain greater braking capacity, many cars are equipped with four-wheel disc brakes. Some vehicles will install shock absorbers at the brake calipers, which can effectively control the noise during braking. The noise mainly comes from the vibration generated by the friction between the brake pads and the brake disc, and the added shock absorber can resolve this part of the vibration. The rotary shock absorber uses the brake transmission mechanism to press the brake shoe on the inner side of the brake friction plate, thereby generating braking force. According to needs, the wheels can slow down or stop in a short distance to ensure the safety of driving and the reliability of parking, and will not automatically slide. The rotating part of the drum brake is the brake drum, and the fixed part is the brake shoe, which is low in cost and conforms to the traditional design.

Rotary Damper Features: 1, Speed. The torque of the rotary damper changes according to the change of the rotation speed. The law of change is: the speed increases, the torque also increases. When the speed slows down, the torque also decreases. The starting torque is different from the standard torque. 2. Temperature characteristics. The torque of the rotary damper changes according to the temperature change of the use environment. The change rule is: the torque decreases when the ambient temperature increases, and the torque increases when the ambient temperature decreases. This is because when the ambient temperature changes, the viscosity of the viscous oil in the damper also changes.

Rotary Damper Purpose: Widely used in small flip covers, gift boxes, window safety handles, floor inserts, etc. It can effectively reduce the noise generated when the product is in use, and can make the lid move more smoothly with the cooperation of the spring.
