Product Description

This gear damper comes in two types: unidirectional and bidirectional. The unidirectional type can be further divided into clockwise and counterclockwise. It is suitable for retractable and sliding products, such as automatic flip sockets, printer covers, and vending machine lids. It has a shockproof effect and slows down the door opening and closing speed, making it smooth and fluid, effectively reducing noise generated during product use, enhancing the overall product quality, and extending the product's lifespan.

Note: 1) The marked torque is measured under conditions of temperature at 23℃ and humidity at 80%, with the testing machine motor speed at 20 revolutions per minute; the data is determined after the damper rotates for 5 circles.
2) Torque customization can be provided by changing the viscosity of the damper grease.
3) The maximum operating temperature range of the damper: -40℃ to +90℃.
4) This series of dampers can provide customized gears.

(Damper characteristics)

A. Temperature characteristics:
The torque generated by the damper will change when affected by environmental temperature. This is because changes in temperature will affect the viscosity of the damping oil; torque output decreases with rising temperatures and increases with falling temperatures. When the temperature returns to normal, torque also returns to its original value.

B. Speed characteristics:
The torque of the damper will also change when using different rotational speeds. Generally speaking, as rotational speed increases, torque also increases; as rotational speed decreases, torque decreases as well. Additionally, starting torque differs from standard torque.

Specific usage methods for gear dampers

A. Gear meshing with rack (linear motion of workpiece)

B. Gear meshing with gear (rotational motion of workpiece with angle)

C. Gear meshing with gear (no angle restriction)
